There are heaps of easy ways your school can participate in Plastic Free July!

- Host a Morning Tea for staff or students;
- Conduct a DIY audit for your classroom or school;
- Check out 'The Story of Stuff Project', and learn about the problems of micro-fibers and bottled water.
- Watch 'Bag It' and have discussion in class about the the problems of plastic, and how we can reduce our consumption
- Attend a local beach cleanup, or start your own! It doesn't have to be a beach- it could be your school or local park.
- Take the Less to Landfill Challenge in your class or site!

DIY Beeswax Wrap & Produce Bag WorkshopJoin Dani Austin for an practical, hands-on workshop to make your own beeswax wrap and produce bag. A fantastic opportunity to reduce your plastic usage, keep what you create, and take home the know-how on how to create these re-usable items again.
When: 9th of July, 6:00pm- 8:00pm Where: The Adelaide Sustainability Centre at The Joinery, 111 Franklin Street, Adelaide. Cost: $20/$16 concession. Price includes all materials to make one of each item. Bees Wax Wraps and Green CleaningReduce your plastic pollution by making your own products!
In the workshop you will make at least one beeswax wrap; plus clothes washing liquid/powder; all-purpose cleaner; air freshener; and dishwashing liquid. When: 19th July, 6:30-8:30pm Where:Box Factory Community Centre, 59 Regent Street South, Adelaide Cost: $5 for City and North Adelaide Residents or $10 for non-City based residents.
