After the audit, there are discussion notes which examine the different categories of the audit materials. To integrate maths and numeracy into your students learning, use the BMA post audit maths activities to explore the audit results.
When looking at the sorted items, it can be useful to consider the waste heirarchy (which ranks practices to maximise the use of our resources) and group them together into broad categories of which items can be Reduced, Reused, Recycled, Composted, or sent to Landfill. These documents can encourage thinking and discussion about each of the categories.
